Shat Gambuj Mosque

Shat Gambuj Mosque:

Shat Gambuj Mosque is one of the greatest tourist attractions in Bangladesh. It is located at Bagerhat district in Khulna division. The great muslim saint Khan Jahan Ali founded this mosque in the 15^th century. Shat Gambuj means sixty domes. Though the mosque is called Shat Gambuj Mosque, it has actually 77 domes. Shat Gambuj Mosque is famous for it’s architectural beauty. The mosque was beautifully decorated with terracotta flowers and foliage. It is now a World Heritage Sight.
